BJSM Annual General Meeting 2026 Conducted Successfully
The Bihar Jharkhand Sabha Australia & New Zealand (BJSM) Annual General Meeting 2026 was conducted successfully on 10 May 2026 at Hawthorn Library, Melbourne, under the gracious presence and guidance of Chairperson Shiv Mishra.
The AGM witnessed enthusiastic participation from community members and reflected the organisation’s shared commitment towards transparency, cultural preservation, stronger governance and collective growth of the Bihar and Jharkhand community in Australia and New Zealand.
The meeting included:
- Annual review of activities and achievements
- Financial overview and organisational updates
- Reflections, feedback and future direction discussions
- Election and confirmation of the new BJSM core committee for 2026
The newly selected BJSM Core Committee for 2026 is:
- President – Rajeev Lal
- Secretary – Om Dubey
- Treasurer – Roshan Jha
- Cultural Head – Garima Shrivastava
Several members also came forward to contribute as part of the Working Committee, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm and participation within the community.

The AGM also highlighted BJSM’s focus areas for the future:

- Expanding community engagement initiatives
- Building stronger sponsorships and partnerships
- Encouraging greater volunteer participation and leadership
